Now, I’m sure you’re wondering why we keep telling you how great of an idea it is to donate to Die Laughing.
We have a lot of goals for the next year but the most important one is to produce a season of original comic plays. Our fall production is in the very early planning stages but we do know that it will be written by local comedic writer Joshua Nite, and it will be hilarious and wonderful.
Of course, we want to be a semi-professional company and that means we want to be able to pay the artists who are producing the shows. We want to be able to effectively market our shows. We want to be known for being a great company to work for.
As we’ve put together the budget for these shows and other operating expenses for Fearless right now, we are about $5000 short of our yearly budget needs. Every theater company needs to raise money to meet their funding goals.
That’s where Die Laughing comes in. And where YOU come in.
Your donation puts us just a little bit closer to our ultimate goal and if we succeed, we can walk away confident that we have the money to produce a season of shows in addition to other goals that include launching our improv troupes, producing two shows for up and coming comedic writers and holding comedy workshops.
Our plans for this year are ambitious and Die Laughing is an ambitious attempt to raise the funds we need all in one insane weekend. Even if you can’t afford to help us reach our goal, though, it is going to be a whole lot of fun to watch us try!
